1969 BKPE CAMARO SUPER SLAYER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:

Is the Super Slayer a restored Camaro or a brand new vehicle?

A:

Aside from a handful of parts, which are only available as quality used parts, the BKPE Camaro Super Slayer is a brand new automobile. It is partly for this reason, and partly because of the quality of our builds, that we can offer the only bumper-to-bumper warranty in the business.

Q:

Why do you use replacement bodies instead of original 1969 Camaro bodies?

A:

Simply put, it is cost, time and quality. Original 1969 Camaro bodies are over 40 years old, which means four decades of fatigue, corrosion and abuse. To restore such a body is time consuming and expensive, needlessly delaying delivery of our vehicles to our customers and increasing the price of our product. In addition, replacement bodies are made with modern techniques and quality controls. Comparing an original body to a replacement body makes it clear that the replacement body offers a superior platform from which we build all of our Camaros.

Q:

Can I have you further modify my BKPE Camaro Super Slayer?

A:

Absolutely. We would love to hear our customers’ ideas as to how we can make their ride even more radical than our own offerings. In fact, we encourage our customers to visit www.BKSUPERSTORE.com and review all of the amazing products we sell to make their Camaro as unique as they are.

Q:

Can I get my Camaro Super Slayer with a turbocharged 572 CID Chevy Big Block?

A:

The LS3 makes more power than the 572, weighs less, is more efficient across the power band and costs less. Given this, we would highly discourage our customers from choosing the 572. However, because we admit there is something very special about opening the hood of a Camaro and seeing a big block engine, we will be happy to discuss exchanging the LS3 for the 572 with any customer so desiring the big block.

Q:

Why is there an up-charge if I wish to change the wheels and tire package of my Camaro Super Slayer?

A:

Additional engineering time is required to ensure that the new wheels and tires will fit the vehicle and perform as well as the standard wheel and tire package. The same is true for a custom graphics package: our design team is required to spend more time designing and implementing the new graphics package.

Q:

Can I get you to build me a Camaro Super Slayer based on either a 1967 or 1968 Camaro?

A:

Unfortunately, no. Due to the magnitude of the modifications we make to the 1969 Camaro to make it into a Super Slayer, it is simply not possible to make one from a 1967 or 1968 Camaro.

Q:

My preference has always been for the Pontiac Firebird instead of the Camaro. Can I get BKPE to build me a Firebird like these Camaros?

A:

Absolutely. Anticipating that some of our customers may prefer the Firebird to the Camaro, we have created an entire line of performance Firebirds just for them. We invite you to find out all about them by Clicking Here.
