Aside from a handful of parts, which are only available as quality used parts, the BKPE Challenger Diablo eMC is a brand new automobile. It is partly for this reason, and partly because of the quality of our builds, that we can offer the only bumper-to-bumper warranty in the business. |

With 540hp and 1100 lb*ft of torque that is applied to the rear wheels virtually instantaneously, we conservatively anticipate sub-4 second 0-60 times, sub-13 second 1/4 mile times and a top speed of around 160 mph. |

What can affect the single-charge range of a 1970 Challenger Diablo eMC? |

Just like with a gasoline powered automobile, the range of the Diablo eMC will be affected by the driver’s driving habits, the weight carried in the vehicle and the accessories used while driving. Our clients should consider the range provided to be an average range under normal driving conditions with the air conditioning turned off.

How are the batteries charged in a 1970 Challenger Diablo? |

The vehicle plugs into either a standard 120V outlet, which allows a charging time of between 8 to 10 hours, or into a 240V outlet, which can be installed by any qualified electrician and allows a charging time of between 4 to 6 hours. |

Why do you use replacement bodies instead of original 1970 Challenger bodies? |
A: |
Simply put, it is cost, time and quality. Original 1970 Challenger bodies are over 40 years old, which means four decades of fatigue, corrosion and abuse. To restore such a body is time consuming and expensive, needlessly delaying delivery of our vehicles to our customers and increasing the price of our product. In addition, replacement bodies are made with modern techniques and quality controls. Comparing an original body to a replacement body makes it clear that the replacement body offers a superior platform from which we build all of our Challenger. |

Why is there an additional charge to change the wheel and tire package of my Challenger Diablo? |

Additional engineering time is required to ensure that the new wheels and tires will fit the vehicle and perform as well as the standard wheel and tire package. The same is true for a custom graphics package: our design team is required to spend more time designing and implementing the new graphics package. |

Will BKPE allow a client to order a Challenger Diablo in a convertible body style? |
A: |
At the present time, no one is manufacturing a convertible restoration body. Therefore, if you wished to buy one, it would be necessary to find an original body and restore it to our high quality standards, which would carry a significant premium in price over the coupe body style. However, doing such work is well within our capabilities and we will gladly consider it for the customer desiring a convertible body style. Will BKPE build a client a Diablo based on a 1971, 1972, 1973 or 1974 Challenger? |

Absolutely, though pricing would have to be determined at a time immediately prior to the sale. Simply let your PSR know during your initial telephone conversation that you wish to order either a different year Challenger as the foundation for your Daiblo. |

What if a client’s preference has always been for the Plymouth Cuda instead of the Challenger? Will BKPE build a client a Cuda like this Challenger? |
A: |
Absolutely, yes! However, the Cuda was significantly different than the Challenger, which is to say we cannot use the Challenger’s restoration body. Therefore, to build a Cuda Diablo, we will have to restore and original Cuda at a much greater expenses. If this option is something you would like to explore, simply let your PSR know during your initial telephone conversation that you wish to order a Cuda Diablo. |
