1969 BKPE CAMARO SLAYER eMC FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:

What does the eMC stand for in the name of this vehicle?

A:

Electric Muscle Car.

Q:

Is the Slayer eMC a restored Camaro or a brand new vehicle?

A:

Aside from a handful of parts, which are only available as quality used parts, the BKPE Camaro Slayer eMC is a brand new automobile. It is partly for this reason, and partly because of the quality of our builds, that we can offer the only bumper-to-bumper warranty in the business.

Q:

What kind of performance can I expect from a 1969 Camaro Slayer eMC?

A:

With 540hp and 1100 lb*ft of torque that is applied to the rear wheels virtually instantaneously, we conservatively anticipate sub-4 second 0-60 times, sub-13 second 1/4 mile times and a top speed of around 160 mph.

Q:

What can affect the single-charge range of a 1969 Camaro Slayer eMC?

A:

Just like with a gasoline powered automobile, the range of the Slayer eMC will be affected by the driver’s driving habits, the weight carried in the vehicle and what accessories you use while driving. Our clients should consider the range provided to be an average range under normal driving conditions with the air conditioning turned off.

Q:

How are the batteries charged in a 1969 Camaro Slayer eMC?

A:

The vehicle plugs into either a standard 120V outlet, which allows a charging time of between 8 to 10 hours, or into a 240V outlet, which can be installed by any qualified electrician and allows a charging time of between 4 to 6 hours.

Q:

Why do you use replacement bodies instead of original 1969 Camaro bodies?

A:

Simply put, it is cost, time and quality. Original 1969 Camaro bodies are over 40 years old, which means four decades of fatigue, corrosion and abuse. To restore such a body is time consuming and expensive, needlessly delaying delivery of our vehicles to our customers and increasing the price of our product. In addition, replacement bodies are made with modern techniques and quality controls. Comparing an original body to a replacement body makes it clear that the replacement body offers a superior platform from which we build all of our Camaros.

Q:

Upon a client’s request, will you further modify the 1969 Camaro Slayer?

A:

Absolutely. We would love to hear of our client’s ideas as to how we can make their ride even more radical than our own offerings. In fact, we encourage our customers to visit www.BKSUPERSTORE.com and review all of the amazing products we sell to make their Camaro as unique as they are.

Q:

Why is there an additional charge to change the wheel and tire package of my Camaro Slayer?

A:

Additional engineering time is required to ensure that the new wheels and tires will fit the vehicle and perform as well as the standard wheel and tire package. The same is true for a custom graphics package: our design team is required to spend more time designing and implementing the new graphics package.

Q:

Will BKPE build client a Camaro Slayer based on either a 1967 or 1968 Camaro?

A:

Absolutely, though pricing would have to be determined at a time immediately prior to the sale. Simply let your PSR know during your initial telephone conversation that you wish to order either a 1967 or 1968 Camaro as the foundation for your Slayer.
